What is Carbon Boost?
Carbon Boost is an all-natural liquid compost extract, made from high-quality compost. It delivers the core benefits of compost (improved soil biology, soil structure and plant health) in a format that is practical, scalable and cost-effective for farming.
It energises soil microbes and stimulates root growth, creating the right conditions for plant production and complex carbon formation. Apply it with a regular boom spray, irrigation or aerial spraying.
How to apply Carbon Boost
Apply with a standard boom spray, plane, drone or helicopter, drip irrigation, spray irrigation or direct injection. It's screened to 130 microns and has had zero blockages in all tested systems.
Apply any time, ideally while plants are actively growing, to make the most of the interaction between plants and soil microbes. Carbon Boost only needs to be applied once a year.
What is Carbon Boost made from?
Made locally, from farm waste. Our compost is made from agricultural waste products sourced from around Murrami, NSW. This high-quality compost is then processed into a liquid: Carbon Boost.

Why doesn't it smell? We get this question a lot. Although it's made from compost, Carbon Boost doesn't smell like compost. [Short explanation to confirm with Virginia or Andrew.]
Why it's better than regular compost
Solid compost has powerful benefits, but it's often impractical at scale. It's expensive, bulky, and hard to transport and apply. Surface-applied compost can take years to become biologically active, because it repels water and needs a lot of rain to unlock its soluble carbon.
Carbon Boost extracts the most valuable parts of compost, its soluble organic carbon and microbial stimulants, and delivers them as a concentrated liquid:

What Carbon Boost can do for you
Raise feed quality
Carbon Boost builds dry matter, increasing feed quality. In some cases, a 30L application may be enough to increase brix by 7 - 15 units.
Sequester soil carbon
Carbon Boost encourages root growth and biological action which produces stable carbon. Following applications of Carbon Boost farmers have seen increases of 1% soil carbon in the topsoil in just 1 year.
Raise Soil pH
In some locations, Carbon Boost has been able to raise soil pH through soil biology and increased soil organic matter. Farmers have reported a 30 Litre/Ha application of Carbon Boost raising soil pH from 5.5 to 6.5 over 6 months with no lime or other inputs.
Improve your soil structure
Better root systems and increased soil biology fight back against soil compaction. Changes in soil structure may be observed in as little as 2 weeks.
Reduce water stress
Enriched soil improves water retention. By increasing the water holding capacity of your soil, you reduce the risk of potential yield lost during drought.
Increase topsoil depth
Improvements to soil biology can lead to an increase in topsoil depth. In some cases, we have seen increases from 4cm to 90cm over the course of 2 years. This is a 22.5 times increase in topsoil volume.

The Minimum order is 1000L. We can offer smaller orders if you are conducting a trial.
Carbon Boost can be applied using a boom spray, plane, drip irrigation, spray irrigation or direct injection. It is screened to 130 microns and has had zero blockages in all tested systems.
Carbon Boost can be applied at any time. We recommend applying the product when plants are growing, to capitlise on interactions between the plant and the microbes in the soil.
The first sign that Carbon Boost is working will be an increase in root hairs. You may notice more biological activity going on, or changes to the soil structure.
Carbon Boost is best used in conjunction with nitrogen and other products rather than as a replacement for them. Up to 80% of nitrogen from fertilisers can be lost, Carbon Boost can potentially reduce nitrogen loss by up to 50%.
3-5mm within 2 weeks of application will help wash the product into the soil, and reduce any degradation caused by sunlight.
